Something to think about:

Numbers 18:26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.

Here the Father is explaining to us how to take care of those that feed us spiritually and serve us in His Name. He separates the Levites (teachers) from the rest and appoints them over the flock for spiritual well being of all.

The sheep are give their tithe to their shepherd, to the place where they are fed spiritually.  Real sheep also do the same, they are food and clothing and even housing for the shepherd.

Remember the Shepherd also gives his tithe back to those in need.

Tithing is a part of God's order and when you do as He wants He always returns the blessing.

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Offerings are just that. They are given out by the sheep in love to where the sheep feel in their hearts they want to give. This is over and above the tithe.
